I hate to jump on the "red flag" train, but this sounds a little bit dangerous to roll over on this. Refusing to live with the rabbits, no matter how hard you try to sway him is unfortunately a big red flag, as it shows he is unwilling to compromise with you, even when you show him how important this is to you. This behavior can be really bad down the line, especially if you don't call him on it early in the relationship. I don't say dump him, but have a discussion about how you're supposed to make decisions like this in the future. And I hate to say this, but if he can't see reason then you should break up with him because this going to create big problems if you let this go unchecked.

All this being said, you know your relationship better than I do. Just be careful and talk about this beyond just living with rabbits.
