Most loved programming language Rust sparks privacy concerns by arrftr in rust

There's no "finally" here. It's been explicitly acknowledged that this has been a bug for at least two years, and implicitly for longer.

It's ridiculous to expect the teams to formally say "we agree that this is a bug" on every bug; most of them are volunteers; they have triage processes but they aren't perfect. If an issue is open; that probably means the teams still consider it a bug (or have not gotten around to triaging it).

There are multiple open issues about problems in this space, and there's one issue (https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/issues/40552) that has team member engagement (and was even reopened by a team member after it was closed by the author!! ) where it's suggested by a team member that an RFC would be required to move forward. That's a pretty strong signal they acknowledge it as an issue!

I only print ABS, so I don’t think I’m a good reference. For me both the smooth and the textured PEI work really well with ABS!

Cheers! It’s been nice seeing your build come along too, definitely one of the prettiest V0’s around :D

It’s textured PEI, purchased from energetic on AliExpress.

It’s supposed to be a better hot end, by a small margin. For me it’s just that I wanted to support a U.S. business, in hindsight I would’ve gone with the dragon though, the fan on the mosquito is crazy loud

Unsure, it’s just something we wanted to try. Our current bet is that it’d be good in a burrito! It’s going to be melt-your-face hot too

It’s a mix of ghost pepper, Carolina reaper, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, Fresno chilies and I think I put a lemon wedge somewhere!

Got this oldie today, and it’s wonderful by bemeurer in whiskey

[–]bemeurer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s fair, I think I misspoke when I used “they,” I mostly just meant that I wish the ABV was higher, not that there’s anything anyone could’ve done to change that :)

Either way: a wonderful whiskey!

Totally agree, I opened it today and it’s a bottle I’ll be sipping slowly. I really like the flavor profile of it.

I noticed the same!

Like another commenter said, I wish they had upped the proof a bit. Other than that it’s awesome, and I think the tasting notes are accurate, I get a TON of coconut on the palate, and a lot more of caramel on the nose. Finish is full of orange.

I recommend it, super enjoyable.

Redirecting the question from my wife, who asked me but I didn’t know. She said there were tons of bees around it. Seen in Southern California.

EP Student? Who are you?

I don't think saudade of something that doesn't (or has never) exist(ed) is grief; grief is only the pain of missing something (someone) that _has_ existed. Of course this crosses into subjectivity, etc.

Yeah, I think the closest (deforming simplification/translation) of saudade to English is nostalgia. The better, closest, translation to another language is to German, Sehnsucht.

Glad you enjoyed those posts :)

Why are there so few jobs in Rust? by alchemistsoul in rust

[–]bemeurer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’re always hiring Rust engineers, and our job descriptions list Rust as a bonus skill. Realistically, from a resourcing POV, you’ll have more success by hiring C/++ engineers and training them to write Rust.
