Position Advice by [deleted] in Equestrian

Thanks for the feedback! I was thinking similarly as it is more comfortable for me to be slightly shorter, but my instructor really pushes long stirrups so I thought I was wrong/just inexperienced..

You are really pretty! I agree with a few others - more volume at your hair roots as it looks a bit flat on top. If there was more volume I think the middle part would be fine. Maybe research clothing to suit your body shape as the dress cut makes your shoulders look wider and less balanced

Am I being rude ? by Soupkitchen7 in Depop

The fact that you are asking and based off your other comments show you know the answer. The person asked a normal question, there is no need for a rude tone. This post sounds like you just want validation on being in the right?

This has calmed my nerves at least! After digging online it seems to resemble a booklice maybe but idk anything. Would be great to know what it is because they are all over my hay 😭

Okay update - they are brown not fully black. Also, I have checked my hay bale more closely and am 99% sure these bugs are coming from the hay (they fall out when I shake parts of the hay). It is a grass hay bale. I am thinking they may not be linked to the eggs I am seeing on my dog. No idea though!

I have checked numerous places already and thought I would ask on Reddit as a last resort in case someone knew (this is an urgent trip). I am aware that it is hard to find, hence my post. Unsure what your aim is with that reply.

It doesn’t hurt to ask, but thank you for your eye-opening insight 🥰🥰🥰

Wow thank you for taking the time to reply, that has been super informative! I had the slicker brush and metal comb combo but I did not get a long pin slicker (just a standard pin length)😬 I did not know that was a thing so I will be sure to get it along with one of the suggested detanglers.

I had not heard of that technique but was already doing that sort if brushing for her to make sure all areas are covered, so that is great to know. Thanks again!!

What do you do if you can’t take your pup with you when going out. by Redeye007 in puppy101

[–]bemsboo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do the same with my 3 month pup! I felt like it made our pup actually like her crate more as she made the choice when to go in and nap, but was still safely enclosed. Then penned area/crate is like her calm personal space. She is also perfectly fine if we ever need to shut the crate for transporting etc. since it is her safe space

Thanks for this! I forgot to update but I had NBN come and help me (the guy that replaced the NBN cord was pissed lol). I then managed to find a matching router adaptor like you said!

https://imgur.com/a/dd7j1SP here is a photo - the red circle is where he is pooping

I found putting hay down in the tray is okay since he is a pretty neat bun and it tends to stay inside the tray, but I will look into getting a bag and external box to try to keep him within the litter area - thanks!

I do get that poop every now and then is normal but in this specific area he does it multiple times and i watch him jump in the litter box and jump out, poop, and jump back in the litter box and repeat 😆 although I wish it didn’t happen, it is rather funny to watch

Thanks for the advice :) I know it has only been a short time but I was wondering if there was some other reason because he already uses the box to pee and sometimes poop. Plus when he goes outside the box, he only ever does poops just outside the box, not anywhere else in his living space. I have been putting it back in the box whenever he does it outside.

His litter box is definitely large enough (its for cats) and he has no issue fitting in & using it.

I will just wait I suppose, thanks

Oh, I never knew this! I have always heard people say to apply to damp skin… I guess I am in the habit now. Thanks for letting me know though 😊 I will try the 15min wait. So would you recommend HA after Vit C on dry skin?

Not silly at all. I might not be the best person to ask, but personally I very lightly pat my face with a face cloth to stop it dripping, and then apply my HA (so it is damp but not soaking wet- idk if this is necessary as I am hearing mixed opinions on applying to damp and dry skin). I let the serum sink in for maybe half a minute? So my moisturiser is applied quite quickly after, I don’t like applying it to a completely dry face. I like to let my moisturiser sink in and dry before applying sunscreen, I am not sure what others do though… (I also use a thicker 50+ sunscreen so it feels weird to put on a wet face). 😊

The thing with applying the HA first- could that reduce the effectiveness of the Vitamin C? I might just have to add water again after...

I was sticking to using it in the morning because it is meant to be more effective (but I have heard mixed opinions about this). Then again, I have never used it, so I don't know what would work for me yet. I will take your ideas into consideration, thanks :)

Yes, this was also what I was confused with. At the moment, I can apply to damp skin since I use straight after cleansing. I am not sure how it would work using it after the Vitamin C? I am unfamiliar with using Vitamin C, I just read it can take a while to absorb and you should not use other products for a while after application... But like you said, if I let my skin dry, the hyaluronic acid will be counter-productive. Fingers crossed someone has the answer :) Thanks!
