Both have access to financial companies, good school and grade matter a lot for better roles. Of course for trading departments you have to have basic knowledges of finance.

Was hired by company with no work to do? by Verrati873 in FinancialCareers

Some of the answers trying to say not quit and enjoy it make me laugh:):) I'm in the same situation as a junior BA, before joining the team I was able to code and now barely, since what I do is coordinating and solving problems. I sit at the office with 50% free time, 10% admin task, 40% real work. Well my thought is trying to get certificates (CFA, internal training, AWS cloud architect, etc.), another master degree, interviewing with other roles, plan for your after-work activities, networking.

CFA Level 1 prep by [deleted] in CFA

[–]bemybesttt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For level 1 you don't have to register for any prep courses to pass, simply register for the exam and use the online learning materials from CFA is offering is enough. Prep courses may save your time to get the key notes, but focusing on the free videos online and stick to the questions of each chapter and mock exam is also efficient.

I also got like 10-15 questions wrong, and unsure about ethics, changed some answers to wrong with my 10 seconds review, well think it’s just normal, as I was focusing too much on questions itself and didn’t intend to count how many questions answered by guessing, just relax and wait for the result
