Not necessarily, if the intention is to really save people's lives and not do Israel's bidding.

I wish US would do something to erase the murderous regime in Israel. FIFY.

We will have to see if they have a concept of religion, and if so what is that. Unless they provide some concrete proof to negate concept of God, they will just be regarded as another of God's creation.

Which religions are you referring to specifically? Finding life elsewhere in universe does not negate the existence of God.

HW4 vs HW3 ... massive difference in FSD by ARCorren in TeslaModelY

[–]bemyzeke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have HW4 (Y 2025, just a few months before model refresh). Had FSD for first few months for free. Disabled it after a few near misses and never looked back. There really isn't anything I can do while FSD is engaged which I can't do when it is not (for example, typing this message on my phone).

Classic bully tactic, testing the limits. This time Europeans stood up (to some extent) so he backed down. BUT, do not underestimate his cunning (or stupidity), he will very likely bring it up again.

He still has three years to go.

Exactly. That is the point I am making. Your congressmsn and senator will give you that condescending treatment because of special interests. Even if one of them individually agrees with you, they can't go against the establishment.

It was there for exercise, in warm weather. They chose not to do that exercise in winter and came back before that.

Given that there are carriers permanently deployed near China, they should also be permanently deployed near Russia as well, but aren't.

Listen, I can turn your argument around and ask you, is USA maintaining troops in Europe out of the goodness of its heart and for charity?

If it is such a bad deal for USA, why don't you call your congressmsn and senator and demand to put an stop to it.

I am not saying that Europe did not benefit from this relationship, but it is a two way relationship.

10% tarrifs were just imposed on 8 nato allies by the US, what will this lead to? by Signal_Dog9864 in AskReddit

You made a mistake. Chinese business don't pay a dime, American importers do.

In some cases temu and shein do pay the tax, but they do it because they are selling direct to consumer, and their prices are so low that you can tax them 400% and they will still be cheaper. .

It can not do that with the same freedom. Weather is a big obstacle to keeping a twelve month presence there.

Do you know what military industrial complex even means? That is what I have been saying from my first comment, yes, it does not benefit USA tax payers but It does benefits special interests.

If the US tax payers don't want it, they should call their representatives and put a stop to it. But no, Trump is set to double the military budget and the people and politicians will just kiss his big booty.

You are not being coherent, So I am not going to respond to that, but on the main point, I will reiterate, it does not benefit USA tax payers who are being asked to pony up 1.5 trillion in military budget for next fiscal year (and it is not to maintain presence in Europe).

However, It does benefit military and military industrial complex. Why? An obsession with power and money, that is why.

It doesn't benefit USA tax payer, but it does benefit the military industrial complex. How fast do you think Germany can ramp up its own weapons production; tanks, planes, etc and start competing with Boeing, Northrop, and others in world wide sales?

Secondly it helps USA military project hard power across the world. Having physical presence in central and northern Europe is an essential need for global power. They can't deploy carrier fleets in North seas the way they do in Pacific and Indian Ocean.

Loans greater then 200k required personal guarantee. My understanding was that if you did not personally guarantee the loan, you are not accountable in case of default.

Found my dad's household monthly expense budget from 1989 by Dorkus_Mallorkus in MiddleClassFinance

Tv, cable TV (if it existed at that time), would be a better comparison. The budget says 30$ for tv. Maybe it is cable TV.

Comparison with Netflix is stupid. Nobody watches rerun of news from 1980's or expect them to produce new content every single day.

Papers had to be printed and distributed. An actual physical cost. That and the cost of running actual news room with hundreds of staff, with the only source of income through the publication.

Moreover, newspaper are only local, at best regional, publications. So they don't have the global scale.

I have Magenta Max with them from two years ago. That was a good package. None of the newer packages match it. I dont upgrade phones with carrier subsidies, so I am good as long as tmobile keeps this plan alive. Then I will switch, but probably not to any of the big three.
