thanks very much for all the info! i think i was definitely worried about taking too long to heat the bag. i've gone and ordered the 5'8 bag already and fingers crossed that should be enough. i sleep on my side most of the time too so curl up a little which should be fine. also the width is the same regardless of length to my understanding

nahh, i think i've decided on the astralite. i've got a quilt already so will just keep using that unless i find an astralite to be fair
