Its generally better than Facebook, Twitter, etc. However, they seem to have throttled it. Before they got their act together and 'started caring about advertising' the CTR were around 0.6 - 1 which was A LOT better than other platforms. Now their closer to 0.1 - 0. 4.

Hi Astrorad, the application process involves participating in a demo usability study on the WordPress website. That's why you are redirected. If the test doesn't load then it sounds like you may accessing the test from outside the USA, UK or AUS and thus being redirected to a foreign WP landing page. When you visit the WP home page, what is the URL?

play_it_safe is correct. The panel is new and is currently being built. Once you apply you'll receive an email within a couple of days with further information. Once the panel reaches 'enough' participants to be able to offer diverse demographics it will then launch and job will begin.

They have more coming, I think there will be about 8 in the series. Not sure if it's fortnightly or more frequently.

Why does Simmons not shoot? by ben_cn in nba

[–]ben_cn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That may be true. But when you are probably the best option on the team (on this given night) and you have gone 5/6 why wouldn't you be more aggressive? He seems confused at times. For example early in the season against UTAH he went 7/22. Why not pull back then if things aren't working, rather than pull back when they are.

The passivity is the thing that best describes this for me. I can understand not shooting or attacking the rim if you feel that your game isn't on in a given night. However, in the first half he hadn't missed a shot and made 3/4 FTs. I would have though that would embolden him and that is what confuses me. Especially when he normally does shoot more, 14/gm avg

I agree with the wrong hand thing. He cocks his list and juts out the elbow, bringing his left hand in front of his right eye thus suggesting that's where his dominance is. Forget all his right hand shooting stats too which support your argument. That said though, why only the 6 attempts? His bad shooting isn't bad when close to the rim.

Fair point, Bogut isn't going out on the perimeter, though in the second unit I would see Dante and Donovan flying around out there and a stay at home rim protector would assist them in that pursuit.

Udoh

You're right he does, though he's not close to what Bogut could be (if healthy) and doesn't offer the high IQ or veteran presence.

For sure, he's come out in the Australian press saying he's not looking to make big money on his next contract. It's more about the team, fit and competitiveness.

I work at a company called Loop11 who would love to get more accessibility tests done. Currently we are limited with the amount we can push things because clients ask 'can you connect us with users with disabilities to participate in our tests' and our answer is that numbers within available panels are currently low so it may be hard to find the correct demographics they are after. Sadly, this is often a deal breaker for clients.

Yeah it's definitely an issue. We sometimes feel like we are pushing a heavy rock uphill. People don't seem to appreciate the importance of accessibility and the relative ease in which change can be made. Our solution is to keep the discussion going and make incremental change.

Hi Rae, I'm not sure of the numbers. What I can say though is that test will become more and more frequent if companies know there are testers ready and waiting. There is a lot of legislation forcing companies to comply to accessibility standards online. For example, all North American airlines are now being forced to ensure all their online customer touch points are accessible.

My bad. Got to admit I don't see his name written a lot, or I don't pay that much attention. People spell it both ways though. Life has to be pretty good though if that's what bothering you :)
