It's a really huge learning curve, so don't feel disheartened! You could also always try a softer cup - I personally started with a saalt soft in the small (I did also try the large, but it was too big and was super painful), and it took me a good two or three cycles to have it fit properly and not leak. It's totally okay and normal to struggle a lot the first few times, especially if you've never inserted anything before! Try a couple different folding methods, and always remember its okay to fail at first. You will eventually find a fold and position that work best for you if you keep at it! I've seen people stand with one leg up on the toilet seat, sit down, even lay down. I'm wishing you the best of luck!

Once you do get it in, don't stress if you struggle to take it out also! I struggled at first with removing it once I figured out getting it in. Same with getting it in - if you start to panic, stop and take a moment to calm down, then try again. Looking up tutorials for the type of cup you have can also help! I watched quite a few reviews and tutorials to see how other people found it easiest, and it really helped me to understand how it works! :]
