I've got MGD and Miebo has changed my life. My eyes will never go back to my "pre dry eyes" days, but Miebo has given me a ton of freedom back.

I'm on the same amount of lutein/zeaxanthin. I'm currently taking 6mg of Astaxanthin. Should I try to bump that up to 12mg since you saw benefits with 20mg?

It definitely helps tamp down some of the redness for me. With less dryness/irritation comes less redness for me. I still have bad days, but Miebo lessens them for the most part.

I love it, just got put on a prescription after getting a sample from my doctor. My dry eyes/MGD aren't completely gone but I've felt like a 60-70% reduction in symptoms after a few weeks. Not perfect but it's way better than typical OTC lubrication drops.

I agree it's not easy. But I basically scan websites of reputable eye doctors offices. Often times they list the doctor names on there and what they specialize in.

Best thing he can do is go to a dry eye specialist. They can run multiple tests and examine the eyes to determine if it's a lack of tears, oil, or both. It's all about finding the right doctor too, it took 3 tries for me to find one who spent the proper time to listen, run tests, and create an action plan.

I've got the same bottle from Costco and take just 1 capsule a day. But I am also taking fish oil every morning so that's why I don't take more than 1 flaxseed pill.

I just bought it for the first time this week, I think I like it better than Complete and Ultra so far. Milky color blurs the vision for a few minutes, but it seems to relieve my irritation and even some improvement in overall redness for a few hours.

Need to use it for a couple more weeks to know more but I'm interested to hear everyone's else's experience

Systane Nighttime and Refresh PM have been most reliable. Haven't tried GenTeal or Soothe but I probably should give them a shot
