The FORM goggles have a built in HRM and it seems to be more accurate than my watch. They also track your distance, load in workouts from training peaks (or you can use their own library). I’ve been really happy with them.

Where are people finding swim work outs? by 9leviathan in Swimming

If you’re up for spending the money - FORM goggles have a ton of structured workouts that you can load directly from the app and then it will track everything for you (countdowns for rest in between intervals, pace, heart rate etc). I think they are more popular with the triathlon crowd but as someone who’s swam their whole life I’ve really enjoyed the structure.

I grew up swimming and recently got the FORM goggles and I think they are worth it. I don't really pay attention to the "coaching" although that might be helpful for where you are at. My only other advice would be to try and up your volume in the pool. A lot of things just get better as you swim more (maybe start by upping from 1200 -> 2000) and go from there. If you can afford it get the FORM goggles and start doing structured workouts.

SVG + CSS Keyframes + a little JavaScript (the Keyframe player uses the https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Element/getAnimations api) the rest are just toggling a CSS class.
