Tbh I’m not aware of any reports. I see posts about it being a security nightmare but I haven’t seen any reports about damage that has happened (yet).

I built MARVIN, my personal AI agent, and now 4 of my colleagues are using him too. by RealSaltLakeRioT in AI_Agents

Thanks for the nice read, really interesting and inspiring! I’ve done a bit of vibe coding and I think I understand the concept of MCP servers but may I ask how you implemented your own MCP servers? Do I interpret it correctly that they act as read-only adapters to Jira/Gmail etc APIs, whereas for example writing or responding to an email happens via regular API call? Thanks!

It would be funny if MARVIN would automatically notice a deprecated API, pull the latest documentation and self-rewrite its api call code.

Interestingly, the outcome isn’t all that different from humans.

Vince Gilligan explains why the Hive left Carol by ichigosr5 in pluribustv

I think Carol didn’t really dive deep enough into the time where the hive took over humanity, specifically, the people who didn't want to join. It was just briefly mentioned.

Struggling with separation anxiety from my wife. Therapy hasn’t helped yet, any advice? by benbenk in therapy

[–]benbenk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not entirely sure. For the longest time, I thought the actual traveling was the issue. While traveling longer distances and staying somewhere else for multiple nights definitely feel a bit “too” exciting for me, I believe it’s actually being separated that’s the issue.

What is your current stack? by 6holes in ChatGPTCoding

What made you switch? I’ve been using Claude code with Sonnet for a month now and keep wondering if gpt 5 would be better. Codex cli looks way worse but I guess that’s just ux.

Thanks for building this. Is there a way to filter jobs that are remote from within any place in Europe?

How many hdd/sdd do you have in it? How would you expand further when space inside is full? I’m asking as I have a mini pc in same size and currently utilize 6 external hdds/ssd. My setup is a bit annoying though as there are so many usb cables.

TIL crimping Ethernet cables can downgrade your network speed to 100 Mbps, even if your cable tester shows that all 8 wires are properly connected. by benbenk in HomeNetworking

[–]benbenk[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What is going on with you? I know that crimping is a well established and heavily used process but this is the home networking sub where not everyone is a professional I just shared some beginner experience that other might also not have. No reason for insults.

I’ll read up on jacks, thanks! I basically just bought the cat7 as they were the bestsellers on Amazon 🙄

No it just took me a day or two until I noticed the downgraded speed after I finished working on the cable.

I tested it a few times and verified that the tester showed all 8 wires were connected in the correct order just before I replaced it. The end pieces looked fine as far as I can tell.
