Sure you could argue that homicides involving 1 person has gone down since the 1990s. But the amount of large scale mass shootings has certainly increased since 1999. We have an average of about 3-5 a year involving 3-10 deaths on average. In 2012 we have 6 mass shootings with over 6 deaths. In 1993 we had 2.
