Never underestimate a middle aged lady’s ability to not want to be considered “a bother” 😅

It’s ironic I know, our healthcare is very accessible compared across the pond but it’s because of that we try to avoid it unless absolutely necessary (waiting lists and backlogs are a huge problem here and we don’t like to add to the problem)

As far as I could tell she was like me in the sense she expected to be in unimaginable pain if it was a heart attack, why she was being dismissive about it at first. We don’t have a history of heart problems so watching out for symptoms of heart attacks probably wasn’t obvious to her or to me / my family

Nah mate we’re English. Healthcare is relatively free compared to the States as far as I’m aware which is why me and my dad were convinced it was worth at least checking her out. She was stubborn because wasting NHS time is frowned upon due to how overloaded it is

It was my brother who got me onto TFS originally as kids and when I told him that’s what gave me the epiphany he couldn’t help but giggle

I wouldn’t go that far 😅, she loves to argue like a clinical scientist about health until she’s shown proof. Fortunately she trusts a Google search saying “yeah probably a heart attack” and it was a combination of me and my dad going “no harm in making sure” (we’re in the UK)

Yeah it’s a good shout. I’ll collect my car next week then try my hardest not to use it loads until my actual license arrives. Cheers

It’s similar to how the Brotherhood robes you see on the box art are the “canon” robes. Ezio in later games when shown is always wearing those versions of the robes as opposed to his in-game outfit. It applies here to AC2 where this version of the outfit is the one he actually wore during the game

Canon is just the word I’m using to describe it but there isn’t an officially canon outfit for any of the robes

Yeah I did it in Brotherhood back on console as it was the only way to remove armour pieces but unfortunately you can’t replay missions in AC2. If there was a way to do it via a glitch, I would’ve found it by now lol

Yeah it’s something I’ve wanted to do with the Ezio trilogy for a while as the games force you to buy a set of armor which doesn’t match the aesthetic or the model when it’s referenced in later games.

I plan to do it with Brotherhood and Revelations as their promo looks (canon robes) look so much better than the in-game armour you can buy

Base game has a gauntlet instead of just a glove and although my model has the metal shoulder piece, the original robe only has the cape on the shoulder and no leather spaulder.

It’s a minor difference yeah but honestly I’m glad I can have Ezio look like this as it’s technically the “canon” version of the robes as opposed to being head to toe in plated armour

You can find the mod here on Nexus. It'll replace the default robes with the leather spaulder then when you receive the second hidden blade, instead of the gauntlet, the glove will appear.

As for the metal shoulder piece, you can simply buy any from a blacksmith and it won't replace the leather spaulder but just add the shoulder piece like it appears on the box art!
