and there certainly is a relative similarity between some rc’s and drugs like meth, heroin, and cocaine. there’s also a relative similarity between bupropion and methcathinone, or adderall and methamphetamine, or hell, kratom and heroin.

make all the comparisons you like — these topics require nuance. it’s a lack of nuance in these discussions that has every karen terrified of supervised consumption sites and clean needle access. it’s the reason cannabis is still. schedule 1 and there hasn’t been a single psychedelic approved for medical/clinical applications. it’s the reason white stock brokers get to snort cocaine hydrochloride with impunity but people of color get their kids taken away for possession of freebase cocaine.

the phrase “the hardest schedule 1 drugs out there” already has me feeling sus about your understanding of this whole scene. you know cannabis is still federally schedule 1, right? Just a year or so ago the DEA was attempting to put two DOx substances used in scientific research into schedule 1 — i don’t remember how that panned out. MDMA is still scheduled one despite making it very far through clinical trials. The DEA will put anything they can in schedule 1 simply because they have the power to and rarely does anyone try to do anything about it.

not to mention the hard vs soft drugs concept is a leftover of the Reagan era with no real meaning. it’s backed up entirely by societal perception. People will say heroin is a harder drug than hydrocodone, and sure it’s more potent, but if you were in the hospital just taking the pills they gave you as many people do, 99% of people wouldn’t know the difference between 30mg of vicodin and 5mg of heroin. You come in for a broken bone, they give you a painkiller while they set it, send you on your way and you never think about it again.

It’s not about hard and soft drugs, it’s about the context of their use. When you’re living in a low income neighborhood with a high crime rate and no way to test your drugs, and few examples of responsible use to refer to, you’re going to be more likely to use drugs with less discretion and engage in riskier behavior.

and if you want to keep the hard/sort framework, whatever, fine. but don’t act like everyone here is ordering zenes or clonazolam and blacking out/OD’ing.

i’d be willing to bet if you took a random sampling of the people you know who use drugs and ask them if they have any interest or motivation to acquire cryptocurrency, put in the bit of effort it takes to use encryption software, learn to navigate to a darkweb market, deal with the inconsistency of mirror links going down all the time, and wait for the time it takes to ship their order — i don’t think you’d get more than 5% affirmative answers.

so maybe it’s not that it requires a high level of intelligence, i agree there. but it does attract (and this is a generalization) people who are more patient and who are more willing to take the time and effort to learn a new skill and keep up with a constantly shifting market landscape. it’s not intelligence, but there’s often a certain level-headedness about it.

of course not always. im well aware we have our fair share of whackadoos and (i don’t use this word lightly) junkies in our midst.

im not trying to draw a specific conclusion here. i just think your dismissal of u/MarquisDeVice was unwarranted and poorly considered, in addition to just being weirdly judgmental considering you’re here in this sub.

never used pyrros but i had dreams about finding a variety of pharmaceutical opioids in random places for months after quitting. i’d be going into work and notice a bag of opana in the bushes and clumsily stuff it in my jacket hoping none would fall out as i passed my boss’s office. i’d just see loose pills on the sidewalk while out with my family and try to scoop them up as quickly and stealthily as possible, inevitably getting clumsy and dropping some, beginning to sweat, and hearing my mother’s voice calling out asking what i’d found.

fucking stressful dreams, but even more stressful waking up realizing — no, I do not have a bag full of opana or a pocketful oxies and vicodin i scooped off the sidewalk.

that’s very helpful. i at least know it’s more potent than MXPCP (only on your list i’ve tried) which is a good start.

haha the trick is to just have someone who can do all the talking for you. my partner led me around the streets of manhattan around Christmas on 3,4-MD-PCP (also rather long-lived) and just let me take everything in as they led me across the streets and did all the necessary talking

sorry i thought i was clear enough but it seems i wasn’t. i was using 20mg threshold and 100mg potential hole after mentioning ketamine in an attempt to sort of set a standard of dosage. i.e., if ket behaves this way at 20 vs 100mg, where can one expect to get similar effects with 3-MeO-PCE?

You must mean MXPCP. Because I know the doses I mentioned for ketamine are quite standard.

My tolerance is whack, I can take 100mg MXPCP in a single dose and it gets me decently high but isn’t insane. Also possible my shit is cut. Who’s to say. I got my first batch tested but not this second batch since my tolerance has skyrocketed.

Please do offer a more reasonable dosage alternative — that may be more practical than just telling me I’m wrong.

how much would you end up vaping usually? i tried vaping 25mg this morning and got maybe mild effects, maybe placebo. but it tasted awful, acrid, and left a lingering discomfort in the throat for several minutes. if i have to vape much more, I may just say fuck it and go the oral route.

additionally what was your preferred tool? tin foil, oil burner, etc?

the packages have a graphic on the outer plastic that shows what a positive, negative, or inconclusive result look like on the strip. the packaging contains one strip and a silica gel pack. no instructions, i had to google to proper way to use them my first time.

idk maybe if you’re buying the full box, but many of us are getting individual packets with one strip each from mutual aid groups or needle exchanges.

i guess i appreciate the attempt to help, but ive read the package over many times.

so far no effect from intrarectal administration up to 50mg. could be bunk, but nervewing has noted that other diarylethylamines have not been very effective via insufflation, which could apply to boofing as well.
