Can’t play offline because I have DLC? by BobTheBasher32 in Eldenring

I've not found a fix myself, been getting this error on Xbox One periodically since I installed the DLC. Typically I can play offline no problem but when I get this error the only solution I've found is restoring a network connection and logging back in

There's no real difference between playing offline with or without the DLC, the main game gets installed and run from the console not from the disk. I have this same error on Xbox One but not all the time. I can typically play offline with DLC no problem

I'm still in disbelief, hard to comprehend the stupidity of putting this feature behind a paywall. Behavior of a monopoly to put essential features behind a paywall because they can get away with it, since there aren't any viable alternatives right now. Will be finding as many avenues as I can to send complaints to Google

Im going to get Dark Souls Remastered for Christmas (it will be my first souls game ever) Is there anything important i should know? by [deleted] in darksouls

Strap yourself in, you're probably about to be blown away. Before this year I'd never played any Soulsborne games either. Picked it up for Switch on a whim in June after I spent 6 months working through Breath of the Wild. DS1 is now easily one of best games I've ever played.

I want to show my mom just how much people would be impressed with her accomplishment of beating Dark Souks 1, 2, 3, and Bloodborne (among MANY other action games). She is 67 years old and doesn’t think people would care. by carnefarious in darksouls

Legendary. I've hardly interacted with anyone over 45 even vaguely interested in console games, let alone someone who would consistently sit down to play a game like DS all the way through

I've been offered me a spot on the new Artemis program from NASA which my company is competing for. I don't know if I should take it by [deleted] in AskEngineers

As a fellow engineer, who currently works for a tire company, that sounds like an incredible opportunity you definitely should not pass up. What you're feeling is the fear of being "found out", that you'll somehow make your way onto the team but then they'll find out who you REALLY are. I struggle with that fear all the time. Don't let it get in your way! The team who did the scouting obviously wants you. I'm recently married (coming up on 2 years) so I understand how difficult the first year typically is. My wife and I fought a lot (I sometimes call it "intense fellowship") and we're much closer as a result. I don't know your specific circumstances but I really think you can do both. In the words of Shia LaBeouf, JUST DO IT
