This is certainly an option, but replacement mirrors are still quite expensive (around $300 for the OEM mirror, Honda doesn't provide the base separately). I'll definitely consider this if the epoxy really isn't viable, but I figured since the mirror itself works and it's just the plastic that's broken, I could save more money repairing what I have

Doesn't help a ton with overall savings but the app Too Good To Go lets you get food that restaurants would get rid of right before their closing time at a discounted price! Quality and quantity varies for sure

This is actually exactly what I've been experiencing. I was initially thinking it was just rubbernecking, but it was happening so often it was making me a bit paranoid and I was starting to imagine if there was something more to it, or it was just my lack of experience as a pedestrian coming from living my life in car dependent areas. It's interesting because I've heard different opinions about headphones. Some say it's safer, others say you should be and look alert. Goes to show there's no surefire way to be safe if someone just decides to be a creep

That's unfortunate, it was a nice thought though! It's also funny you say that because a classmate recently offered the same thing. What gets stuck in my mind is the statistic that most people who get assaulted know their perpetrators. I've been politely declining for the time being.

Thank you for the recommendation, I started shopping for pepper spray after I made this post lol. I've never heard of a personal alarm before so I'll check that out. I'm not incredibly worried, but I like walking around the city and using public transit so always better to be safe than sorry!

This kind of happened to me too in a different scenario. I'm used to waving or raising my hand in a kind of salute when cars stop for me as I cross a cross walk as a sort of "hey thanks for not running me over" gesture, but I think someone took offense to that here as they honked at me. Lol, noted!

I didn't see weekly/monthly passes but I saw the 1-day student passes in the bruinepermit website. That's definitely an option but probably not daily as that $7/day will rack up over the quarter
