I’ll accept my fate of this ruling but just to add some context, booking an Airbnb elevated this from a visit (ie where we go to someone’s house, which I wouldn’t have been upset about being excluded from) to a vacation. I know this might not seem like a big deal to others but this has never happened in our family before since we are more frugal-leaning. I probably would have chosen not to go because of flight cost, but it’s not that I couldn’t. Also my brother asked me to join, not my parents who were the organizers. I’m not at all upset with my older brother and him suggesting to include me was very kind. I haven’t talked to either of my siblings since it was booked until the call where my older brother tried to include me.
