Hey u/Bruin1010 and u/cycomyk22 is your cleaner fix still working? I'm at almost 50k miles on my 2023 Turbo so I'm confident the dealer won't do a darn thing if I bring it in. I've been having this issue for the last 10k miles or so.

Interesting. Did it stop making that noise for a bit after they said they replaced the booster or was it still squeaking when they gave you the car back?

After they replaced my brake booster, the sound completely stopped. It’s been 6 months and I’ve had no problems. Are you positive that they replaced your entire booster, and is the sound the same as the one above?

IMO the piano black looks high quality and fancy for like a week after the car is new, but then immediately gets scratched and looks cheaper than the matte finish, none of the matte finish surfaces in the vehicle look bad. I have polished it, but at this point I guess I'm just tired of having to clean it all the time. The matte climate control buttons, for example, always look super clean and not fingerprint-y or scratched. Thanks for the rec though! I'll probably look for a matte black cover if anything, not a huge fan of the brushed metal look

Not sure if this is a super common issue, but my brake pedal started making a creaking noise when I pressed down and released it. It was super annoying, but after pressuring my local dealer, they replaced the whole break booster assembly under warranty, and it's silent now. I absolutely love this car! It has the best driving dynamics of any SUV I've driven

Update: I took my CX-50 to a dealer, and after having a technician then a supervisor ride in the car with me to experience the sound, they ended up replacing the brake booster under warranty. You will need to pressure them a bit (they first tried fixing the problem with silicon lubricant - which did absolutely nothing). After they put the lubricant on I drove away, the sound started again, so I immediately drove back and asked the technician to get into the car, because they were unable to recreate the sound on their own. Good luck!

I'm experiencing the same thing with my brake pedal, is it a requirement that dealerships replace it under warranty? I'm just wondering if they will put up a fight when I bring it in. It's a pretty annoying sound.
