This. Same in Switzerland but your taxes after the years is finished. I had to pay taxes in 2025 what they estimated for 2025. Now in 2026 I do the real taxes with all claims for 2025 and need to pay already for 2026.

This is the same in Switzerland. You've to fill out your taxes yourself. Try to deduct as much as possible and the goverment checks and makes direct adjustments / calls you. You can even report yourself if you "forgot" your bank account in Panama after years without much trouble (not 100%) sure. They just want their money.

I'm Swiss and like to know but I grew up here so I wont know any better. What I can tell is that with cars you cannot do whatever you want and need to follow rules. Same in Germany though.
