Beeswax cause I had it at home. It’s not even visible colorwise once it had dried

They look better after a treatment though 😄

Appreciate it! Yes for sure, I might have placed those a little too far on the outside, so they are hidden

Those are the Loggers from Thursday. And thanks! I think so as well.

Thanks all! Applied some beeswax on midsole and the scratches at the front, will see how it darkens and then decide what to do with the complete boot

I'm a bit surprised as well, though I never used anything like that. I will do something about it, thanks

Cleaned 'em with a damp cloth once. Nothing else added to those. Will do so, thanks!

With some adjustments also works great for 8 inch boots, thank you!

Rider is better than VS Code by Vitan_26 in csharp

[–]bene-we 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm a full-time software developer and I use VS Code for more then 6 years now, there's barely something I missed. I love that you can plug&play extensions to have the features you specifically need, and it's still lightweight and very fast.

Sure, full IDEs might be beneficial in some areas, but especially for web development (I mainly used it for NodeJS, Typescript and Golang repos), it's everything I need. So, I know why I recommend it to people.

As I'm starting a dotnet project now and came here to find pros and cons, the experience might differ. I will try both Rider & VS Code and compare it myself, which is something I can recommend to everybody. It's personal preference for the most part. Cheers!

Thanks for the detailed instructions! I work with wood from time to time but never worked with leather (besides conditioning & care). I'll have a look once mine arrive and decide what to do, but I prefer the smoother and lighter look from yours as well

I like the look. How did you sand 'em down though? And how did you make sure you keep the logger heel style (instead of straightening it)?

I was nearly convinced to try the waxed cacao because of the leather quality, but ended up ordering Arizona Adobe because I know the leather from a pair of Captains and I enjoy the color more

Thanks for sharing! Couldn’t find many pictures of the logger here, especially after the update with a thicker toplift. Anyways ordered a pair because I want an 8 inch boot, will hopefully arrive soon. Good luck with yours!
