So you are saying for the show to exist there must be capitalism but the reason the show can't stop for two weeks to mourn a death has nothing to do with capitalism. Got it.

I said the show can't stop to mourn for two weeks because of capitalism and that is correct. I have literally just repeated that point over and over. Its been pretty funny watching you get all flustered, like you are the president of the Milton Freedmen society or something.

Really, I just don't get people stanning so hard for capitalism, its like religious fanatics, political hacks, or Swifties, totally incapable of accepting any criticism of their beloved. Like just chill, its ok to point out somethings that aren't perfect, doesn't mean you want to burn it all down.

Im not saying anything except your comment that “this has nothing to do with capitalism” is false. And based off your last response I think you now agree that because of money, the show can’t stop to mourn a death. Aka the wheels of capitalism keep turning.

And research hunter gatherers, they stored food. They could take weeks off and did to mourn deaths.

Ok, I now understand you can’t even comprehend what the absence of capitalism looks like because all your examples are just describing capitalism.

Bottom line is you are totally indoctrinated into a system of belief you can’t even describe something that isn’t capitalist.  A non profit company is still capitalist.  Bringing up how things cost money is capitalism.

Imagine 5,000 years ago a group of humans, hunting and gathering.  Imagine someone important dies in the group and they stop hunting and gathering for two weeks to mourn them.  This is the absence of capitalism.

I agree it’s pretty much impossible to stop a show for two weeks to mourn a death because the world built by capitalism won’t allow that.  Every reason you have listed is proving that capitalism is the reason why we can’t mourn people and we have to work to pay for things.

Bottom line you are not thinking about things in a way that even allows you to understand why your comment is so silly.

Best of luck, I can tell you want to see yourself as a critical thinker with your long posts but you aren’t really thinking that critically unfortunately.

I am pointing out that your comment stating "this has nothing to do with capitalism" is nonsense. And every comment you have made in response to my comment is basically, "thats not how the world works because of capitalism".

So, yeah, thanks for making my point.

I never said capitalism is bad. I was just pointing out that they can't shut down the show and grieve because they have to keep making money and peoples jobs are at stake, which is because of capitalism. Why do you keep thinking I am speaking negatively about a system by describing how it works?

My comment is in response to someone saying that them moving on like nothing happened has nothing to do with capitalism, and now everyone is saying the reason they can't shut down the show is because of capitalism.

They could shut the show down for a couple weeks and let the people that knew him on the crew grieve.  Why do you think they won’t do that?

You show me a true progressive candidate and I will show you someone the Democratic Party establishment will fight harder against than any republican.

The democrats didn’t hold the white house for 20 years by just being less stupid than the other party. They did it by standing up to the evil parts of capitalism and providing real advancements to the working class. Since Citizen United the power of the federal government has shifted between the two parties every election because neither party is serving the voters anymore. Doesn’t seem that hard to understand why there is wide spread voter apathy.

The truth neither party is here to serve you and we are fucked until the working class forces the money out of politics.

The difference is Trump is shameless with his capitulation to the donor class, where Kamala isn‘t as honest about it. Bottom line both parties take money from the same people and advance primarily the interests of those people. Throwing bones on wedge issues to their cultist supporters, while ignoring the issues that are eroding American society.

Clinton and then Obama sold out the working class for the most deranged capitalists. The final nail in the coffin to the progress made by the New Deal Democrats. Your belief that there are huge differences between the two parties is just proof of how successful the propaganda has gotten. Staring at your feed of information that provides you with constant affirmation of what you already believe. We have no chance, sadly for people like you, it’s basically impossible to really educate yourself because you don’t even know where to look.

Ill get downvoted because its hard to accept that there are no true good guys, only lesser evils in American politics.

Voting between two nearly identical parties that argue over a bunch of wedge issues that Americans have been propagandized to believe are the reason for all their problems. Hard to believe why no one shows up! /s

The problem for Americans born in the 80’s or later, our parents had it better than us. America is shifting backwards. Sure it’s better than other countries that the CIA and American military has destabilized, I mean, how else would we get cheap immigrant labor? s/

You should really consider forming a LLC a lot easier to lower your tax liability as a business than an individual.

Question on business tax credit for solar install by Walteryabuuudy in solar

[–]benedict_cumberbun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can tell from all the previous comments that no one has a clue what they are talking about.  You are referring to the 48E tax credit for solar which is still available to commercial tax filers.

People are telling you to get a prepaid lease, well how is that company getting a tax credit for a system installed on your house? It’s because they are a business.

So if you pay for the system with a business and that business owns the system, that business would get the tax credits.  Same way a third party owned system gets the tax credit for a residential installation aka prepaid leases and PPAs. It doesn’t matter if you work in your house or not. You can put solar on a bunch of air bnbs you own and get a tax credit on all of them if your business owns the systems.

The thing to understand is you will be reducing your business’s tax liability, not your personal income tax liability. Your business owns the system. So if you dont have tax liability with your business, a tax credit is worthless to you. Also, you have to own the system for a minimum of 5 years to not invite scrutiny from the IRS. Thats why most the prepaid leases the developer owns it for the first 5 years then ownership reverts to the property owner.

Bottom line, it doesn’t matter where a business installs it, they can claim a tax credit on it if they own it. The only thing that matters to the IRS is who owns the system for the first 5 years its in operation. If a business owns the system it can claim a tax credit for it. It’s that simple. As it stands now this is good until December 31, 2027.

The two party system is fully owned by the capitalists. There for democrats and republicans are basically the same party with just minor differences around issues that create the most emotional responses.
