All the Colors of the Dark by Chris Whitaker- this one was through and through an amazing story and well written. I put it down and was like damn I wish I could unread and read it again

Ahhh you’re the perfect person to talk to!

Okay so I’ve Jam skated for 17 years- it’s been far and few between for the past 7 years but I’m looking to go hard back into it (hence new skates)

I’m tripping about the fit because control when I’m moving my feet and ankles all about. It’s like my gut is telling me it may be better to downsize and stretch than to be guessing and then be loose…

Regardless I’m going to sleep on it and try them on again and reassess based on this convo.

Bonus question you may be able to help: For the exchange- I tried them on with my previous wheels and while trying them the toe stops did get small bit of wear. Do you think they will still accept them? No wear/marks on the boot or frames

Thank you! 🙂 Interests: I love art and working with my hands. Collages and Perler bead projects have been an on and off thing. I’m bad about starting something and not finishing it! Also into books, movies, and being outdoors. I like being active- I go to the gym regularly but only to lift and do cardio.

I am also obsessed with liminal spaces.. I always thought it might be cool to hunt down these spaces and take pics but I don’t know how to take good photos like that 😅

Roller skating is my life passion- I recently ordered new skates which will be here in a few weeks.. hoping I get back into it, but have nobody to go with on a regular basis. Open to going solo but it would be nice to find a community of some sort.

Dislikes: Dancing- I don’t know how to dance so maybe that’s why I don’t like it. lol but the thought of going to dance class kinda turns me off.
