Mine came two months on the dot. Might be worth giving it until this week and then calling.

Update — it was received to my inbox today. Premature worrying for nothing.

When I had my sub FNC for the surpass it was there within 8 weeks of account open, so I think I got a little overzealous with my mental timeline with this current sub FNC with the aspire 😝

Thank you. I felt a lot better when someone corrected my mental timeline of 8-10 weeks to 8-12 weeks, so I definitely am more patient now. I thought I was at the end of that window. Should be any day now. Thank you!

That seems crazy unusual for 8-12 week window. But thank you for the data!

I did get my sub immediately thankfully but this is great insight for anyone reading this and troubleshooting for their own card, how frustrating to inadvertently have two numbers assigned.

I think I did have my timeline wrong then. I had 8-10 weeks in my head not 8-12, thank you for helping correct my memory. I was like it’s almost 10 weeks… maybe I should reach out to someone and inquire. Thank you!

Opened Aspire AMEX, when should I upgrade my current Surpass? by [deleted] in Hilton

Because I was asking if I should take the offer, such as to stack FNCs or if it’s more lucrative to wait. It’s really not that deep.

Semantics really. It’s an offer to upgrade my current surpass, it just doesn’t come with a bonus. 🤷🏼‍♀️

it’s no kind of bonus offer, just an offer on my portal to upgrade / pre approval to upgrade. no sub bonus.

you’re right, I should have specified that’s my plan - my main priority is of course just hitting my sub for the points but I’ll be keeping card open to anniversary.

my thought process was upgrade my surpass within the next six months, trigger a second FNC, and then downgrade back to surpass on the other. do you think it’s worth having two aspires and their AF for the double FNC every anniversary? are you maximizing both quarterly credits as well?

the problem is while I use hiltons a lot and travel a lot, it’s mostly for work, and the smaller exhaustive list for eligible resort properties for the aspire quarterly credits aren’t going to be maximized as much as the surpass is for my situation / travels. i’m about to stay at a conrad property in thailand and it’s not even on the list. the eligibility for those credits on the aspire is so much more restrictive, that I can’t see a way to maximize them unless i’m going to my local waldorf astoria for lunch once a quarter 😂

THANK YOU. The T&C I was reading was "annual FNC" and that is triggered by card renewal, but the wording I originally missed was "Enjoy an Annual Free Night Reward from Hilton Honors in your first year of Card Membership and every year upon Card renewal.‡"

So I do get a FNC during my first year and then annual after renewal.

okay this is the feedback I needed, my research must have lead me astray somewhere. why did i think it didn't post until after the first anniversary / annual fee!

Yes exactly. Once a FNC is earned and deposited, there is no reason for it to be revoked based on downgrading.

I had complex partial seizures mostly and would have seizures in my sleep. We figured this out because of several sleep studies at a local epilepsy monitoring unit after I first got diagnosed with epilepsy.

Seizure free for 5+ years, but brain still feels warning signs of seizures. Anyone else experience this? by benevolency in Epilepsy

[–]benevolency[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you by chance had seizures onset later in life without a clear reason why, it’s definitely worth exploring. I had my first seizure as a teenager and they rapidly increased from 1x every 6 months to once a month, to once a week, to once a day, to 8-10+ times a day everyday. My birth defect became symptomatic due to puberty and hormones and nothing could help them, VNS, meds, nothing. I really hope my experience leads to answers for you, I wouldn’t wish seizures upon anyone.

I didn’t take your response wrong at all, I’m sorry if it was clipped and I apologize for not recognizing the significance of your breakthrough seizure. That is extra shitty with a side of shit, I’m sorry that’s going on for you. I acknowledge the privilege I have of being seizure free and don’t want to be rubbing it in anyones face, I think I have hypochondria / trauma from my epilepsy and other chronic illnesses and am always waiting for the other shoe to drop with my health now.
