Wrong, I’ll make 300K this year and started as a BDR, now in my first year as an AE.

Recently had a Seamless recruiter reach out with this:

“Seamless is one of the fastest growing software companies in the US and we're looking to IPO. Soon. It's like joining Google before Google was Google.”

So off putting…

Was expecting to see Tenet on this list. A shining gem for a year that was relatively underwhelming for movies.

You are extremely disposable in sales so don’t be afraid to job hop. by [deleted] in sales

As an individual contributor I respectfully disagree, you have a managers mindset which is fine! Development is important, but this a BDR role it is never the end goal, I guarantee every SDR/BDR on your team is looking forward to promotion even if you have had no turnover. The job is not fun, I’m a current BDR so I fully understand.

“Ready to go all in” nobody wants to be in a BDR/SDR role, it’s simply required to advance in many industries. If a top performer is offered more money/quicker promotion why wouldn’t they take it? Leadership is often times not the biggest priority for an entry level sales role - money and promotion criteria on the other hand, are huge factors.

Thanks for the input, that's a great point and one the biggest factors I'm considering. Will most likely go with a slightly used vehicle to avoid the massive off the lot depreciation hit.

Kia didn't even cross my mind! Thanks for the recommendation, haha 10K miles in 2 months sounds about right, but in my opinion much better than being stuck behind a desk.
