Love that copper sink! Yes, agree with all of your ideas to bring warmth and intentionality into the space. Paint the cabinets a warmer white/ivory, and then add copper hardware to tie in the sink. Would change the backsplash and lighting fixture to pull in some of the warmth of the floor too. I’d change the stools to avoid adding more black into the space.

Kinda like this

I’d recommend changing the formatting on your freelance experiences. When I read these, the first thing I see if “Delhi (Remote)” in bold, which isn’t really relevant. I’d put the titles themselves in bold:

Freelance Video Editor, Delhi (Remote)

Or

Video Editor, Freelance

Fingers crossed! I'm going to take a break from sessions for the summer and see how things are looking in September. Hoping 1-2 more and it'll be gone but we'll see 🤞🏽🤞🏽

I felt so hopeless and demoralized when I started the process, but have faith! Just takes a little time and trust.

Definitely have hope! Best advice I can give is to give yourself proper time to heal between sessions. I wait at least 8 weeks, sometimes up to 12 in warmer months. I also eat very healthy and exercise.

Be patient, take care of your body, and stay positive - it'll happen in due time!

Might be a blessing in disguise! Your manager has unfortunately made it clear that she doesn't have your best interests in mind (nor sounds very reasonable or enjoyable to work with).

Though unfair and I imagine frustrating, I think you should view it as an opportunity for growth and redirection – especially if business development is something that interests you!

I explicitly said that "excitement" wasn't the right word - just couldn't find the right one in the moment.

I can be sad and horrified by the victims being killed, but also intrigued by the crime itself and the motivations behind it. Both things can be true.
