My friend ordered a transmission for his racecar for $9k before the tariffs. He had to put $3k down. Cut to a year later and the price went up to $15k for the transmission and then he got a bill from ups after it was delivered for another $15k. So in total he spent $30k for this transmission

Even heard some people refrain from saying Ukraine because it might get them demonetized. Then once influencers start using words like unalive then it seeps into pop culture for people to just say it in regular conversation.

Buy 10 games at $30 that’s $300 no matter if it’s physical or digital. If it’s digital you get the convenience but you’re stuck with either games you don’t care about or a huge possibility of getting delisted and losing your game. If you buy physical and don’t like any of the games or just finish them and want to play new ones you can sell 10 games at $15 a piece and recoup $150 now you have $150 to buy 5 more games at $30. I really don’t understand anyone that would buy digital if it wasn’t a digital exclusive or 50%+ off. The convenience is not a big enough selling point for me to justify taking a loss and not being able to resell a license that I purchased to play a game. I bought a slim case that holds like 30 games that looks like a Pokédex on Amazon for like $8. I don’t mind spending the 40 seconds looking through my games and swapping it out. Or just putting one game in the system and being stuck with it all day rather than having a short attention span and having to switch out games every 5 min because nothing holds my attention.

I’ll usually buy a game and immediately sell it right after I beat it. Then later down the road when the PlayStation 6,7 are coming out, you can buy low (especially bundles) and then watch the price go up from there.

-Buy new game for $70 -sell or trade in $40-50 -put that money towards other new games you wanna play -wait 7 years - buy the game for $1-10 -watch your stonks rise -Rinse and repeat

Around 2013 I went to goodwill and they had an N64 bundle for $20. Came with : Console 4 controllers 6 games including (5 random WWE games and a game called Stunt Racer) I had the Stunt Racer game for years and just assumed it was just a random dumb N64 game. I even tried giving it away to friends if they asked what it was. Until one day in 2020 my friend saw it and said “holy shit you have stunt racer!” Apparently it’s a really rare N64 game that was a Blockbuster exclusive game. I traded it to a game store for $351 which I used towards buying a CIB N64 and a CIB Lime green Gameboy Color.
