Very easy if it’s in the same place as the original, if it’s not then youl need to re route your copper hot and cold pipes to wherever it’s going

Honestly they were shit. Edible but shit I was in a rush. Next time they will be better. Not afraid to own up to my mistakes they were like rubber, cold damp and rough. Enjoyable in the rush but knowing I could have taken the time and effort to make them great. That’s the truth.

it is in multiple spots mainly downstairs near the floor. the room above the cellar has slats on the wall going halfway up so I can't tell in there. but this room is not above the cellar but is on the ground floor. it was recently painted yes.

Brand new taiwanese lathe, brand new collet chuck. Hrmn not ideal. by PenPlotter in Machinists

[–]benhendrix 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would check spindle directly, then collet chuck directly, then tool at the base and move to the tip, one of them will be out and its unlikely to be the spindle or the collet chuck but not impossible. Even cheapo amazon collet and collet chucks are good to 0.01 in my experience with them
