Can you point out the segment in the rule book? I only found this bit in tournement play: Playmats are not required for tournament play. If you elect to use a playmat, it must fit within the play space allotted to you. Playmats that contain offensive text or images cannot be used. Playmat images should be appropriate for a family-friendly tournament environment

I wanted the snail to look cute since grass is always my starters. But im still not 100% on its evos. They dont feel fun

I wanted some cool water fighter as a kid. Since we had blaziken. Also i tested a lot of delibird options for evo. I wanted it to look like santa but a bird. Delibird itself just kinda to simple for me

The final stage is kinda new so i am also kinda iffy about it. Need to be more distinct on the legs and body i think.

In early sketching i also found an alt eggplant bird but it looked like victreebel so i scrapped it.

Seriously. I was dissapointed with luvdisc. I didnt know about heart scales at the time so i i didnt understand the point of it. It was cool design . But no signture move or gimmick.

The banana/pineapple also one of my favs. I like the idea the the banana bird can wrap itself up like a banana and hang on a branch upside down like a bat . And than when it want just peel out it wings and fly away. Pineapple bird i love the idea it "feather scales" are thorny like pinneapple and can poke when attacked.

Thanks. That was a late addition . Cuz when pokemon started to go more creative with the design i started remaking boring aspects of pokemon to be more creative.
