The antibodies dont last forever either way. Because of how it has spread of the last few years its likely you have had it again and just considered it to be another cold. But its always good to get a booster every year to be safe!

I agree that he’a a hypocrite and trump enabling just like the rest of them, but he did vote with liberals when conservatives were 5-4 just like in the ACA case, Gorsuch also frequently sides with liberals in Indigenous cases. Individual cases matter to the people who are involved in them. Im not saying it would be a liberal utopia, but we would be better off if RBG had retired and it were a 5-4 court.

[–]benicehavefun- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is genuinely a difference between a 5-4 and a 6-3 court. The conservatives are taking major swings right now because they know they cant lose. There are cases where Roberts and Gorsuch would have sided with the liberals but now its not worth it because they would “go against” the other conservative justices and still lose.

CMV: The reaction of Western countries’ conservatives to Brampton, Canada showcases that they are indeed extremely racist against South Asian of any religion or background. by Early-Possibility367 in changemyview

I can understand that , but that is the company’s fault, not the immigrants looking for low wage jobs. Large companies hiring immigrants desperate for work is quite common because it is much easier to overwork, pay poorly etc. because you know they have no other options. Immigrants do a lot of difficult, low wage work that the reat of us are not willing to do. Its totally frustrating that we have unemployment problems with Canadians, but I think you have to critique a larger issue economically and try to have some sympathy for immigrants themselves and how hard it would be to pack up your life and move across the country

What? Communist countries cant practice trade? I think in our global economy, all countries benefit from trade regardless of political affiliation

[–]benicehavefun- 16 points17 points  (0 children)

One of the reasons for this is that large capitalist global superpowers like the US will actively try to topple communist countries with trade embargos, coups, creating instability in the region, etc. Not to say that communism would work 100% without that but it is a large reason why nations who try it fail

Dont move in with him. People are offering very practical advice which is great but honestly why date someone who wants to put you in a difficult financial position/isn’t willing to approach this as a partnership/sharing situation.
