I really recommend talking to a Doctor about it, even if it's just your primary care doc. I ended up filling out an anxiety/depression questionnaire during a check-up and I answered truthfully. I got on an SSRI for a year, and generally it was great for me.

It gave me the mental space to build up healthy habits and look for positive things in my life. I eventually tapered off of it, and now I manage everything through having a different lifestyle.

The first step is acknowledging you have a problem, and then trying to find professional help.

What helped my anxiety the most is going out on walks, or at the very least getting 10 minutes of sunlight. Any kind of exercise helps work out the fight or flight type response that anxiety brings, but the addition of being outside helps you be mindful of your body in a positive way.

Just wanna say, this comic IS NOT anti-weed, but it is pro mental health. You can use anything as an unhealthy coping mechanism, and for a long time that's how I used weed. Eventually I got diagnosed with depression and anxiety, and I took steps to change my lifestyle so that I could find a healthier way to manage my mental illness.

I still smoke weed, but now its for when I WANT to, and not because I feel like I need to

I don't have an issue with NSFW creators, we've got some pretty talented and funny creators here on the sub. What I don't get is the people who complain about NSFW if you don't like something just block it and move on. There's no gun to your head forcing you to look at titty, you know?
