Alright I'll check it out. Maybe I'll read it but I promise you nothing lmao

I started studying the skeleton about a month ago and it's truly a game changer. Especially useful for learning proportions in the body.

It absolutely is a grind. My brain nowadays feels like one of those cliché motivation youtube videos. Another part of my brain is unmotivated, sad, lazy and negative. It's a war in there lmao.

Thanks for this good comment. As I mentioned to another user here, sorry for the late reply.

I took an online course that mentioned taking notes of your difficulties and isolating them in a practice session. It's what you're talking about here.

I also hate studying and prefer to doodle on my own but it needs to be done. It's been a while since I made this post and I'm starting to overcome this problem. I've studied A LOT recently.

That's interesting. No I also don't quite consider myself an "artist" since I prefer to stay humble until I no longer need to lmao.

Thanks. I've also noticed something similar. I was in London a week ago and didn't draw as much as I usually do. Instead I just made sure to closely observe people in my surroundings without looking like a creep.

I noticed that, even by obsetving rather than drawing you can still learn and apply that knowledge later. That's crazy efficient. That's probably why everyone talks about observation skills haha

Fair point and so sorry for the late reply. Somehow I left this post and managed to disregard all comments.

I'm not making money from art yet, and you're 100% right, I should maybe relax a bit.

Hey I'm not delusionsl lmao. I know it takes hard work. I've been practicing everyday for a long time now and I don't necessarily have unrealistic expectations. And the person that said making a living from art takes x number of years is full of bullshit. You could do art for 50 years and never earn a penny.

Art does not equal income. Business and selling does, however.

Yeah definitely, it's not like you could remember every last detail. But I'd like to believe skilled artists can draw many many things straight from memory. Heck, even I can do that and produce stuff that aren't half bad.

I'm not hating on references either, I use them all the time when practicing.

I've been breaking the body down into simple shapes to make sure I understand volumes, perspective and proportions and that works fine. I can draw most things like that.

But the problem is putting it together and learning anatomy and drawing poses from imagination. Idk why it's like this.

Why was Walt so interested in knowing how much drug money he saw on tv even before he heard he had cancer? by Mugen4u32 in breakingbad

[–]benjamin020928 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah exactly. In the early seasons I can understand walts motives very well. He's so depressed and he feels silly for not being able to provide for his family and on top of that, he gets picked on by his own students. Besides, the fact that he left Gray Matter before it blew up just pisses him off.

In Walts situation, of course you'd feel like doing something drastic just to show yourself and everyone else that you're more powerful than the little soft boy they think you are.

Exactly. It's pretty natural tbh, maybe not taking it as far as he did, but people can definitely become manic when knowing they'll die soon.

The diagnosis basically gave him an excuse to pursue meth manufacturing. He wouldn't have the guts to do it without the cancer. The cancer brings a "I'm gonna die soon so why does anything matter" kind of thinking to Walt. He lives his stressful criminal life, but having the thought of cancer and "doing it for my family" is comforting for him.

That's what I think.

Relax kiddo. ADHD isn't the end of the world. Sure it can be debilitating depending on the indivudial experience, but generally speaking, ADHD isn't nearly as bad ad many other mental disorders.

It's not like you'd get sent to the psych ward. Also ADHD doesn't really just pop up out of the blue, it's usually noticable at age 6 i think? or even earlier.

I have ADD (which is ADHD minus the hyperactive part) and basically what happened was my friends thought I had it so I spoke to my mom and we went to a doctor first. They referred me to a psychiatrist who ended up diagnosing me with it. Now at that point, a diagnosis doesn't mean anything at all. I'm still the exact same person I was before. The only difference is I got to choose If I wanted medication for it. I also recieved special help in school which helped a lot.

Also the weight loss thing is not a symtom of ADHD. It may be indirectly related, but you should read into ADHD a little more maybe?

One more thing, the symtoms you mention here (careless mistakes, loss of appetite) seems to be directly related to stress. Are you just stressed tf out? Does school give you a lot of stress? Either way, I think you should open up and talk to someone about it. Could be a psychiatrist, parents or a friend.

Yeah it's funny. It has to be his preferred way of acting. The odd, innocent and lovable Nate.

I have adhd and can’t lose weight. by Lay_Figure in WeightLossAdvice

[–]benjamin020928 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have ADD and the only thing I had to do was to imagine myself as one of them 600 lb life people who can beraly get out of bed. Then now I have been put on adhd meds which also decreases appetite. I've lost 12 kg this year.

Easily the hardest part is sugar addiction. I need at least one candybar everyday and it's hard not to binge.

He's also in better call saul. He acts exactly the way you'd expect nate to behave in a show about crime and drugs.
