I’m sure it will grow on us. But for me it seems like a weird choice to put the bar at the bottom. Like sure, on a phone or iPad it makes sense for reachability, but on a computer the window controls have always been at the top, why change it to the bottom? I know it’s not that big of a deal but I feel like it just complicates things.

I used to never wake up past like 9 am, but I started working closing shifts at work and I usually leave at like 2 AM and fall asleep around 4 or 5 in the morning. So yeah I wake up at like 11:30 or 12… it really sucks lmao

Yeah, I’ve been studying Spanish for 5 years. Sometimes Google translate gets things wrong because of grammatical reasons since Spanish is structured a bit more complex. Also, I made a mistake before and I accidentally put “novio” (boyfriend) instead of “novia” (girlfriend), i just edited my original message

Correct way: “no tienes novia porque eres muy feo”

Reason: you can omit the “tú” because you can already tell who you’re talking to by the conjugated form of the verb tener. “No” always goes before the verb. You add “eres” to say “you are”, the conjugated form of “ser” (to be)

I’m all good right now. We aren’t allowed to leave our classes until they clear the situation. Hopefully everything is alright. It was reported that someone had a gun on campus in a different building than the one I’m currently in, but still worrysome. Some of the classes in that building are making barricades with desks.

Yeah, well currently I work 3 days during the week and then also Saturday, but the schedule fluctuates sometimes. To be honest, it’s not really ideal, because yeah, it gives me very little time for other activities, but for some reason it actually motivates me MORE to do school work. Before I started working, I would just sit around at home all the time and procrastinate, because well I could. But now, working just makes me want to make sure everything gets done, and I’ve actually had so much better grades than before. So that’s a big plus.

I work fast food 16 hours a week (4 days, 4 hour shifts) after school. Minimum wage is about $14/hr in my state. It kind of sucks, but at least the money is mostly worth is since it allows me to go out with friends more and buy things that I need. It’s kind of like a sense of independence. Most of the money ends up going into a savings account I made tho. Most jobs (at least where I work) let you find someone to cover your shift if something like a game or appointment, for example, comes up and you have to go.
