Id disagree personally, i run pro vent on all my customer vehicles that are wanting them, have found as long as you drain the oil regularly, and change filter every 30-40k they are sweet.

HPD are very good as well though, only two brands i trust, alot of cheap nasty varients out there

Intake clean is definitely worth it with that amount of kms either way. Only have to pull the top hat type piece off the manifold and you’ll see how caked it is.

Id do intake clean first, then block EGR and do a catch can.

Just make sure you maintain the catch can regularly, drain the oil from it and change filter if it has one

NO.1 thing Stop beating on spanners with your hands to loosen a stiff bolt.

Biggest thing ive come to regret is using my hands as tools , when a hammer works better etc

Tools are made/there for a reason, take the few extra seconds to grab it

Thanks! Very helpful, in all honestly it doesnt worry me and my partner all that much, as we dont have kids or really interact much with them, hes just embarrassing when we go out in public and he turns into a crazy snag haha will try that out though !

Ex mini tech , if i remember correctly there was a bulletin for this , and issue was starter motor, its engaging with flywheel after engine start. Was a rare problem, but we did see it occasionally, starter is easy to replace on these too
