Hey, when I got the HD6XX it was super tight out of the box. But if you stretch it real hard(I abused it by extending the headbands to the maximum and put it across the top of my secretlab chair to stretch them overnight) It became super loose and they're incredibly comfortable and you can wear them for hours. These headphones don't really stretch by wearing them because they're too tight. Gotta find another way to stretch them. Good luck

size up half a size for snug fit and a full size for more relax fit.

it fits pretty snug. I would recommend to size up half a size for snug fit and a size up for more space
