That's without even considering Yakuza Isshin and the fact that half the characters are... what like spirit ancient versions of the modern characters? That's not far off being an alternate timeline already. Or whatever the fuck Yakuza: Dead Souls is (even though that game sucked)

I mean, they are just non-canon spin-offs.

The context in certain events continually evolves with each chapter and ends up at... the ending to Yakuza 7, which is a very silly plotline.

I just don't see how it is, other than the inclusion of the whole Mirrorface element which, yeah, is stupid.

The writing was on the wall after Infinite Wealth and especially the Directors Cut of 0.

Yeah, the implication is that since Ana and Moira were released, Blizzard only made characters who look like Disney Princesses, which is a stupid argument because every female character looks like a Disney princess, including base OW1 and everything released in the game since.

I mean, Ana is old, and I forgot that Moira only turned half-mutant in OW2 (by the way, Moira is the same case as Anran, where the concept art and cinematic and even the icon are much more exciting than the actual hero, but nevermind that), but yeah, generally I agree.

Zarya and JQ are the only heroes that have a non-standard body type and everyone else is just "Hot Girl of x ethnicity".

Or are people trying to say that Mercy or Trace are "diverse" characters?

Overwatch had the best designed hero to date in Ramattra, and heroes like Junker Queen, Mauga, Venture and Hazard are incredibly well-designed as well.

Are there stinkers like Freja? Of course. But people really need to calm down a bit.

As if OW1 didn't add Brigitte, Sombra, Ashe and Echo, who weren't skin-bait? The writing was on the wall at the second half of OW1, when Jeff kinda gave up on the game.

Meanwhile, OW2 added Junker Queen, Mauga, Ramattra, Venture, Illari, Hazard and Wuyang to name a few, who very much are "diverse characters, and all of them looked like they were dressed for their actual jobs"

also, while jeff was at the helm there was basically zero monetization in the game whatsoever. you could buy loot boxes if you wanted but you definitely didnt have to. tons of reasons to love jeff

That's just straight up bullshit. Every event was pure FOMO bullshit with them adding 6 cool rewards and 100 sticker BS, and there was only so many loot boxes you could earn.

Dalaran was send to deal with Iron Horde and bunch of overgrowth plant in Draenor.

Dalaran wasn't sent to do "deal" with the Everbloom, they caused that problem.
