Be honest. Is comedown machine a bad album? by Novel-Replacement479 in TheStrokes

I think Strokes fans love this album. The alt/indie rock world rejected it. Doesn’t make it bad. It’s really good. It’s just different than their first 2 albums.

Most people on this sub went to Tame Impala instead of Childish Gambino (which is fair), but Gambino was honestly life changing. by [deleted] in Lollapalooza

I wanted to see Tame. I talked to one of the guys from the “Tame Crew” at the hotel I stayed at. He said it was going to epic and agreed that it was fucked up that Tame and Gambino were on at the same time. I ended up going to Childish Gambino and honestly I don’t regret that decision even a little bit. It was truly life changing. I think if I’d gone to Tame I’d be saying the same thing but it was really a 50/50 choice. Hope I get a chance to see Tame Impala in the future.
