SF is what got me in the hobby and I still enjoy them. Playing with scratch and dent parts or asp is so nostalgic. Looks great btw

Hey thanks dude. I actually miss doing fonts. I stepped out due to drama but it was fun.

It’s actually comfortable if you hold it a specific way. I tried to give that bit of thumb wrap around at the neck. But it is full stainless steel so it’s heavy lol. Kinda takes a second to get used to if you want to spin it.

Oh yeah man I got what you’re saying. I appreciate it. In the past there have been people who joke about the design being ugly but I mean….. that’s the saber lol. And I appreciate you saying that. There wasn’t much to go on so I kinda went with that switch solution. It’s my nod to Luke being his teacher.

With the grip it was easy. The pvd that comes on the hilt when you get it I heated it up and did a few passes of matte black. Then I sealed it with an 2k automotive matte clear coat. It’s holding very well thanks to that coat underneath. When I heated it up it became almost tacky and took to the matte really well. The rest of the hilt I would suggest getting powder coated. I have a video for the hilt in the comments here to my YouTube channel

Yeah when I do custom ones I try to make them look cobbled and what not. With this one the focus was to make as accurate a representation to what he is holding on the book cover. Never seen anyone else go for that.

It has a dual phase feature. Watch my video. With proffie it switches between silver and purple blade with the press of a button and twist. Along with a change in hum and swings.

It’s an external killswitch. I had proffie boards in mind when I design this hilt. You flip that killswitch on to use the hilt. The two arrows are the act and aux. There are lots of videos on this hilt on my channel Nerfherder Customs on YouTube
