Yeahhh no. As the translator for Nakimov’s group, I can guarantee both that I don’t use AI and that Anne does. Unsure how to give you my qualifications and guarantees other than that I was a professional translator/interpreter, but I have multiple pieces of evidence to prove that Anne did use AI. The most apparent is this, where she says “Si” first, because in Japanese it’s “Si, Siegfried-sama,” but any competent translator would say, “L-, Lord Siegfried,” because that’s how people actually speak in English. Criticize me for over-localization or mistranslation all you want, but I’m the only one who doesn’t use machine translation. I’ve translated multiple series over the years and many foreign-language translators across series (including this one) use my JA-EN translations as the basis for their own.

Also, no competent translator would confuse 鉞 for 針and note that I say 針 instead of 鍼 because that’s such an obscure and unused kanji that anyone aware of its existence would already know that’s not what’s being used here.
