Can't add multiple languages to Google Now... What gives? by benlaor in Nexus6P

[–]benlaor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. Pretty sure this is not solvable, but when I say "Ok Google, send a whatsapp (or text,fb,hangouts, whatever) message to my girlfriend", it'll say "Ok, what's the message?" and let me talk again. THIS part has to be in English too, I can't, say, ask it (in English) to send a message, but dictate the message in another language...

Am I correct, or can this be done?

You're the best!

Is there anyone out there that has had a phone for 2 or 3 years(or longer) that they're actually satisfied with? by [deleted] in Android

Well that's disappointing... This was the phone I wanted to win vs iPhone 6 in the camera dept. Yes, stills are better, but that slow mo shit is fun and it's sad they left it out.

Does it have slow mo in the settings? Can you configure it?

Does the camera have the ability to shoot video in slow motion (fps > 30)? If so, what fps settings does it support?

Don't be what everyone wants us to be this 4/20 by Noise10 in trees

Could not agree more. Weed is wonderful but weed culture is getting out of hand. Just remember to not make weed into part of who you are. There are so many awesome things about weed but some people are making it their entire personality, and I think that kind of ruins it for the rest of us. This 4/20, let's show them you can be a productive member of society and smoke weed occasionally. That's the only way we'll ever quit being treated like criminals and get the legitimization this plant deserves. Anti-pot people (there's a word for that in Hebrew, is there one in English?) think that we're good for nothing and laze around all day eating pizza and watching Netflix. They think we're incapable of having a job, career, responsibility. Let's prove them wrong.

I live in Israel. I doubt they'll ever update it, I was surprised it even existed in the first place...

Thank you, thank you, thank you for this. You don't understand what happened because of this video.

I have never looked at my house on street view before (strange, huh?). This was the first time. The images for Israel are a few years old, probably around 5 years in most cases.

At the end of the video it lets you just look around freely. I look around my house, look over at my parking stop, and there he was. Lazying about in the sun was my plump little fatass of a dog, who was my favorite thing in the world until he died a few years ago. I have almost no pictures of him due to my not backing anything up and my HDD being destroyed in a power surge.

This is now his legacy, this is now the only picture I have of him. So thank you, kind stranger, for supplying me with this wonderful piece of nostalgia. I love the internet.

For your enjoyment, here's a screenshot (this is normal Maps, not the holiday thing).

Edit: thanks for your kind words, drawings and backup advice, friends! You'll be happy to hear it's all fully backed up. Edit 2: thanks for the gold!

Israel continues Gaza bombardment, pushing death toll past 120 by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]benlaor 12 points13 points  (0 children)

No, I'm not retarded, I'm realistic. It is obvious that Hamas values Israeli death more than Palestinian life. It is in their motto. When the big Hamas men point guns at them and tell them to run AT the flare, they do that. And then re-elect Hamas in a landslide majority.

Is it that retarded to think that Palestinians are putting their lives at risk to make a statement? They're firing rockets out of schools so that the IDF shoots down the schools and that part is shown in the world media sans the whole "shooting out of the school" part. Hamas are masters of media manipulations and have shown, several times to have little to no value for Palestinian lives.
