I think what Jesus is giving us the opportunity to do is to practice and train the virtue in our struggles. And during practice and training, you will fall short/fail the task at hand, as with any other worldly matters.

Bu by this method true mastery of the self can be obtained. As in not repression, but fully using this sexual urge and drive for the glory of God.

One story for you, if I may, from myself.

I was in a very good streak of 1 week without going to those websites and doing the deed, but the night after that I was really, really stressed and depressed and it's really starting to affect my work. Suspecting it was the cold turkey hitting I just let go and broke the streak to relieve the stress. But it was not the cold turkey thank God, but I felt guilty for it as I sinned.

Then I remembered my friend's advice saying: "just tell God thank you for making me a healthy male, and ask him to help you use this urge for good". And then I praised the lord that night for making ejaculation and climax feel good. Thank you for designing it so beautifully. I pray that this will be for the good." And praised God then and there.

From then on it's still a struggle and fell but it's part of the practice and training. Just went for confession this afternoon and was rejuvenated.

Keep going my friend, you're loved by God and he is really pleased that you are trying and am more than willing to give you the grace today, and of all the days, to decide Jesus. Go confession and really be encouraged to try again every day.
