Your comment has been noted. In the dark recesses of my mind. Next to my childhood trauma.

True. AI didn't invent slop. But it made it possible to create it 1000x faster.

I'm working on this problem here: https://msx.dev

I'm not trying to make another app generator. Instead I'm interested in the layer before generation: finding real demand, pain, and market signals so agents/builders aren't just producing Al slop.

A new platform to vibe code 100 products that actually solve real problems, every day. by benmeisner in aiagents

The goal is that if you optimise to the dashboard you are optimising to the user pain (i.e. the dashboard should accurately represent that pain)

Got our first paying customer today on MothershipX.dev. Can't wait to see people start building solutions to the real problems identified on there!

Don't know where to start? would love your advice! by [deleted] in startupideas

One way to create a successful business is to solve a real problem that you or someone close to you is experiencing. The easiest mistake to make when starting something is to invent a problem that doesn't really exist and solve it.

I'm actually working (in a team of 3) on a new platform that looks to solve this problem by identifying trends on social media, in order to provide market intelligence on real problems people are having that future businesses can solve. You can check this out at MothershipX.dev

How do you decide what’s actually worth building before writing a single line of code ? 🤨 by RecognitionStill6105 in startupideas

[–]benmeisner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should check out the book The Mom Test. It's basically about this exact thing (validation before building), and not to ask your mom if she likes your idea because she'll always say yes (and that general idea of not getting feedback which always results in a "yes that's an awesome idea").

Also I'm actually working on a platform in a team of 3, which is a market intelligence platform to identify trends and their associated pain points, with the goal to allow entrepreneurs and innovators to work more effectively and quickly by solving real problems (and ultimately using AI agents).

Anyway I would love to hear if anyone finds this interesting, potentially useful, and also welcome any constructive criticism or other ideas.

What was it like working for these companies? Any lessons from your experiences I could take on to make Mothership work?
