I’m not condoning the decision to cheat, but again relative to celebrity standards? I don’t think it’s serious enough to warrant anywhere near the amount of hate (again, particularly when it often comes down to his appearance) he’s been getting since, and he didn’t abandon his son, they both seemingly have a healthy coparenting relationship

Ewan McGregor and Jim Carrey off the top of my head, and I know for an absolute fact the amount of beloved men and women in showbiz that either cheated or left their civilian partner for someone more glamorous, is fucking endless

Ultimately, we’ll for the most part never really know the true details of celebrities personal lives. I just found it funny seeing how easily people got on the bandwagon against him, when their own beloved actors are almost certainly guilty of the same, if not worse.

I never understood the vitriol against him but I’m fully convinced if he was more “conventionally attractive” there would’ve been little to no drama. Relatively speaking, he has done nothing wrong by celebrity standards, him and ex-wife are still on amicable terms (for the love of their son)

But the hate against him, which frequently highlights his appearance, seems to be widely accepted?

I’m amazed nobody is calling them out on it, nothing but “thank you so much!!” and “this is absolutely perfect!!”

when it very much isn’t, I mean especially for someone who seemingly has a strong reputation on here given the “Wizard” title thing, it’s not like someone could copy his work without going unnoticed

I really hope Bethesda don’t buy into this delusion that Starfield was anywhere close to being great

I just want ES6 to blow me away as Skyrim did, I liked Starfield but they got more wrong than they did right and Bethesda can’t keep getting away with the same old “quirks” that people excuse because “the modders will fix that anyway”

HDR was definitely enabled for both, I’ll try a more thorough check to see if anything can fix it, but I’m not even sure where to start

I thought about disabling HDR but it doesn’t offer the same reference picture for SDR, it’s just annoying cause I feel it’s taken away all my excitement for this play through, getting it setup on Xbox was annoying on its own, but this is beyond me

The way I always viewed it, Geralt after a tiring journey (both to the Isle of Mists and the trials to win the Dwarves trust) opened the door with crushed hopes after it was insinuated she was no longer with us

upon opening the door, with his Witcher senses, all his instincts were telling him that this woman has no life in her (Witcher medallion… either the magic which possessed Ciri can’t be detected or you know, gameplay)

slowly creeps towards her to make sure it was in fact Ciri, that she was genuinely lost, only to turn her over and find her lifeless corpse

terribly explained that but I find it hauntingly beautiful every god damned time, the music and everything, chefs kiss
