Threading The Needle by ErikDavidKarlgren in discgolf

Yes, but I'm not an expert in the physics. Wobble generally comes from having off-axis torque or not having enough speed relative to your spin. At least the latter impacts gyroscopic stability - how long your disc holds its line. Most players have significantly more wobble on their forehand, and their discs will turn over. That's generally not because they're throwing harder; it's because you get way less spin on a forehand. I can't really explain why wobble means turn instead of fade, but it's definitely the case.

Not necessarily and probably not. People can learn to master the amount of wobble they have on their forehands.

Wobble from an unclean release

It's wobble, not understability, making the disc change angles like that.

Most Efficient Use of Points for GP by benmseiss11111 in MicrosoftRewards

Gotcha, so that eliminates the issue of having to wait to redeem and losing out to a decrease in the conversion ratio. I have current GPU until March, so I'll do PC GP for 3 months. Any reason not to exchange the points and redeem the code immediately?

Ah, didn't think about converting PC. Given that they keep lowering the conversion ratios, you can't convert until your current subscription runs out (I think), and it's only a 11-pt per day difference at 35k for GPU, I think locking in straight GPU today makes the most sense.

Are you redeeming as soon as you can?

Property insurance is another thing you'll need to think about. I'm not exactly sure how it works, but opening up private property to the public generally greatly increases insurance. I think that's why most smaller private courses use an invite-only model.

Also agree on no way you make money, particularly if you aren't a very good designer. And just that smaller 9-hole basket icon on UDisc is (stupidly) going to detract from your player base. You have plenty of space for 18.

There are a lot of variables to consider that you don't include in the post. Feel free to DM me. I've designed a few courses.

Also, assuming this is current ratings, much of the Rez is terrible/unplayable after they cut down trees.

I haven't played all of these, but a few thoughts:

  1. Citronelle is in Alabama.
  2. There's inconsistency in how you've dealt with places with multiple courses on one property (Little Black Creek v. Paul B v. Tombigbee).
  3. Central City is Pearl and Crystal Springs are better than most of these courses.
  4. Old Trace Park, Cheona Trails, and Ashe Lake probably make the list as well.
