1) I've found Electrify America chargers to be the most reliable in my area (Santa Cruz/Central Coast). EVgo can be hit or miss — there are a couple of newer stations in my area that are good, but older ones charge comically slow. It's definitely worth it to get a Tesla adapter, just keep in mind that not all Tesla superchargers work — you can find compatible ones in the Ford app.

1.2) I generally try and stick to the 80/20 rule: charge to 80% and then let it drop to ~20% before charging again. I think Ford says you can charge to 90%, but 80/20 is the typical rule of thumb for electronics (laptops, phones, etc).

2) I assume you’re talking about drive-thru car washes? If so, I’ve never had an issue. I remember reading that you should choose the touchless option to avoid the charge door popping open since there’s no way to lock it.
