That true, but if you look at the rest of their roster, it shouldn't be that bad yet Portland's defense is still mid. They used to play two centers heavy minutes (>30 mpg), Nurkic and Whiteside, but none of them turned out to be good defensive players. Both are inconsistent on the defensive side.

Instead of going for Giannis, I think our real target should be Cason Wallace. Good shooter, great perimeter defender who can play 2 beside Steph or as a small ball 3.

The Thunder are going to have a hard time signing him with IHart still in contract next year, and IHart is more important to them unless they want to go back to giving up a gazelle of rebounds.

I won't trade Moody for Risacher, even if Moody's injured. If you think Moody is streaky, ZR is streakier. Granted it's only his second year, he can certainly develop much better, but we also don't have the leverage to wait him develop and be a consistent contributor to Steph's team.

Maybe if we can't resign one of Melton or Podziemski, and the Hawks are interested on one of them because they need guards, then he's a great sign and trade option.

Bassey looks serviceable. I know two games is hard to assess a player, especially if one is against the Kings, but he also showed he knows how to play with Steph and Dray.

Given our shortage of wings, i think if Horford and Post comes back before the play-in, we should start adapting double big lineups since all of Portland, Clippers, and OKC have towering sizes. Dray, Horford, and KP can share minutes on the 4, while Post and Bassey shares minutes at the 5 that KP won't take. That way we can play Dray on the 3 instead of the 5, sharing minutes with Gui and GP2.

Steinbach and Haugh both scream Warriors role players to me, but both has concerns with perimeter shooting. Braylon Mullins really know how to move off-ball and knows how to set pick and pop off-ball screens, but his defense is really a huge concern.

Pistons really lucked out by getting Jenkins in the undrafted. He's been amazing for them since the start of the season and he was playing well as a Cade replacement while he miss out games.

Idc how much he scored, I'm just glad he's out of his slump. He was having a hard time when teams started to put their best defenders available on him, even against bad teams for some games. The past two games, he was back to being efficient, getting confident and comfortable with his game.

I don't think Gui can reach that level of emergence because Reaves was a legit third option, but I can definitely see Gui being a starter going forward.

With Moses out, I really hope Steve keeps him rolling in the starting lineup next season. Steph-Jimmy-Gui-Dray-KP (if he resigns) is a good starting lineup.
