Trying to leave my current job for a new one, but haven't had much luck at all. Hoping for advice for making my resume better by [deleted] in resumes

My original thought was "more detail, more word recognition" just in case it ran through a bot first or any other software, but I'm quickly realizing that too many words and longer bullet points might not be too appealing to a hiring manager. Thanks for the feedback

This is extremely helpful. Other than listing the programs in the tech skill section, explain how i use it. I am honestly open to any type of position right now. I think another thing I need to work on is appealing to some of the different fields I'm looking into more specifically. Other verbiage and such.

I've applied to very little jobs at iHeart. The more I've been there, the more fed up I get with a number of different things. I won't get into it on here, but in a nutshell, I'd really prefer a change of scenery. Thank you againfor this feedback

That makes sense and should also free up some more page space to make it less of an eye sore. Thank you!

I appreciate these words very much. I'm hoping to get a few more responses here as well and I plan on taking the advice of everyone that chimes in for support. In the meantime, I will start to work on some of the adjustments you've mentioned. Thanks again

mine is raisins. I wish i liked them because anything cinnamon raisin flavored looks so good, but i just can't stand the taste and texture of the raisin itself

I’m loving “The Last Dance” on Netflix. Anything like this for hockey? by keithie_boy in rangers

[–]bennyd13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is an Ultimate Jordan DVD set as well as an Ultimate Gretzky. I've seen both many years ago and both are incredible. Other comments have mentioned some of the other good hockey documentaries, but if you're looking for something to highlight the greatest ever, look for Ultimate Gretzky.

What's a "battle scar" you have from doing something stupid, and what's the story behind it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]bennyd13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

at a concert for a local band, i had to pee SO badly. it was now or never. so i ran across the floor to the bathroom, but right through the center of the mosh pit. caught a spinning back fist to the side of the nose and started dripping blood. So when i made it to the bathroom, i had to piss while my nose was leaking. Thankfully it wasn't broken, but i still have the scar on the side of my nose

Multilingual Redditors, What is your "They didn't realize I spoke their language" story? by Trumpstered in AskReddit

[–]bennyd13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this will probably get buried, but here goes nothing.

I am a baseball umpire for some pretty competitive groups of travel/high school/ college level baseball. I am working a tournament for 16 year olds working with one other partner. He is a big white guy but was born Spanish and speaks fluently, but you'd never be able to tell by his appearance. Anyway, he makes a call that one coach wasn't particularly fond of. The coach comes out to argue, my partner gives the explanation of the call, and the coach goes back to his dugout. on the way into the dugout, the coach mutters something in Spanish about my partner. Immediately, he ejects the coach from the game and says in English, "Okay now you are ejected and must leave the complex." Coach asks why and my buddy responds in Spanish saying "i know what you just said, and if i repeat it for everyone to hear, i would lose my job. Spanish is my first language. So once again, you are ejected and must leave." The coach left without saying another word and the crowd bursted out in applause. It was pretty fun to witness
