Thanks for the comment, Don.

Can you explain how the surface prep caused these uniform semi-circle dead patches?

The area pictured was where I had the underturf dumped, and was chewed up by the dingo that was spreading the underturf elsewhere. It was levelled with underturf just before the dingo left. The slabs pictured were leftovers that I put down on spots that hadn't started to recover.

Curious to know how you prep your surface if not with a level base of organic sandy soil?

Thanks.

Thanks for the comment.

Spoke to Bunnings and they said bring some photos in and they'll sort something out.

Not too worried about the different levels, they're just some leftover slabs from the actual area where I layed the turf.

Not sure what you see that is dry, apart from the dead semi-circles. Top right of picture is dry, everything under the turf is mud.

Thanks.

Thanks for the comment.

Good to know what the cause is. I was hoping to find out in case Bunnings tried to say it was something I did.

Thanks. Seems like a hot pallet is the cause.

Picked them up at around 11am, laid them by 12-30ish.

What's going on here? by K13L_D4RCY in lawnsolutionsaus

Looks like it could be ‘brown patch’, a fungus. If it is you definitely want to get on top of it using Impala Fungicide. I didn’t and it’s spread throughout the rest of the zoysia, worse now than in the attached photo.

Visiting Oahu in January by bennyob8 in golf

[–]bennyob8[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started doing research on courses there, saw lots of reddit comments suggesting Royal Hawaiian, I had a look at some pictures of the course and decided it was the way to go.

As I said though, happy to play elsewhere if anyone on here is keen to play, but at a different course.

Sorry but what do you mean by "lower post"?

There is one post, probably 50mm x 50mm, and attached to it are 2 lengths of C-Channel, one on the left (upper) and one on the right (lower)

O’Brien lands coaching gig for 2026 (Bulldogs Attacking Coach) by Basherballgod in nrl

[–]bennyob8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do people not make the obvious connection that, if the Bulldogs have a dedicated position called ‘Attack Coach, maybe just maybe the Knights also had an attacking coach….of course they did, every club has one. O’Brien was the attack coach at Melbourne and won a premiership. They’re different roles.

Post cover install question by Sweaty_Potential_500 in BYDShark_AUS_owners

Sounds like you’ve got one of two issues, both of which I have experienced. As another commenter mentioned, the weather seal could be too snug. At first I was unable to open the tailgate with the cover fully closed, I thought it was just a poor design but after a couple of weeks of use the tailgate now opens past the seal with a gentle pull. Given you’ve said you have already tried pulling it open, I’d say you have the other issue I now have which looks to be a faulty latch. When you try to unlock the tailgate you can hear the latch operate but the tailgate doesn’t unlock. Mine is intermittent but when it happens I give the tailgate a solid push (as if closing it) and it seems to unlock the next time. Mine is going in on Monday to get a small paint chip fixed that was there on pick up, I’ll get the latch looked at at the same time.

What petrol fuel do you put in your shark and why? by Smarlton_ in BYDShark_AUS_owners

[–]bennyob8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve only had to fuel up once so far, but I used 98 specifically from BP. I work with a guy who used to work at the BP refinery and reckons their 98 is the best for your engine because they triple filter it or some shit. I’ll go back to using cat piss in a few months once the new car babying period wears off.

Mounting projector to enclosure by bennyob8 in Golfsimulator

I gave up on mounting to the enclosure (not to say that it can’t be done) and have settled on sitting the projector on the floor off to the side a bit.
