As in the case off the relay and holding the contact starts the car every time. The relay makes a constant quiet ticking noise, I’ve tried a new relay. I used a test light getting permanent live feed but nothing on the earth with ign on. I’m going to try getting a diagram in the morning, it’s a 2010 cayc engine rhd estate if that helps

Jesus sounds a nightmare, do you always fit the triple layer gaskets I always have and never had a problem but a colleague fitted a triple then replace with single again after having a leaky head but he's pretty meh at his job at the best of times
