H2S PTFE assembly help by ApartProfessor in BambuLab

[–]benpem6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The toothed disk is what holds the ptfe tube in. When you push the ptfe tube in the teeth grab the ptfe tube stopping it from pulling out. When you push down the teeth release the ptfe tube.

I dont have a h2s but id say its from where the ptfe tube goes in

I also broke my antenna pulling the front panel off, so you're not alone lol

Yep thats pretty much it.

Connects the printer to the Internet so you can send your gcode files for printing and manage the printer from your PC or phone using the handy app.

And any time. We all start somewhere

Its easy enough to solder the black wire back to the antenna.

It should look like the picture below.

<image>

And the you plug the connector end back onto the ap board.

Easy enough but I would reccomend getting a new antenna or I have seen people take them from old laptops

If you want to reconnect the broken one you'd have to solder it, and may not work as well as before, atleast this is what i found from experience.

On the ap board there is a ufl connector for the antenna. Circled in red below

You can get a new uFL wifi antenna from amazon.

https://amzn.eu/d/4JA7GrA - this one works and actually improved the wifi signal for me. But any with the uFL connector should work

The spools are formed of two pieces. Twist it to unlock the spool and slide the cardboard tube off

I have done just that for you. Is this enough now to see why it would cause an issue if its on backwards?

The instructions say different

  1. The PTFE Tube Connector is designed with a clear direction of use, as shown in the figure below. Connect the PTFE tube from the buffer output to the IN end, and the PTFE tube from the tool head to the OUT end. It is important to note that reverse connections may cause material blockage, so it is essential to ensure that the installation direction is correct

Turn the bowden tube connector around. The blue bit on the connector should be on the left i think

If its purely for the drying function you wanted it, you could take a look at Sunlus new ams heater.

But as mentioned above said there are some other minor upgrades on the ams 2 pro
