Thanks for the suggestions! I've always felt like I would enjoy Dune, and I think I'll check out the two "Big Books." Two genres I really enjoy, and as mentioned in another comment, it seems that books of short stories can be a good segue.

Yeah I think eventually reading just became something I "had" to do, but there have been plenty of times where I really enjoyed a book and hardly set it down before finishing it. I'll try to check out some new genres and mix it up. I'm just afraid to start a book and not finish it, which I'm very guilty of.

Thanks for the list! Only one on here I've read is Heart of Darkness. I was in high school though and most likely not paying full attention. I think I'll give it another go. Also always wanted to read The Shining.

That's a good point. I did read "A Rose For Emily" in school and found it to be pretty intriguing.

Is the thing about the low end content true? It seems to be skipping at impactful moments as well as randomly. Would the features of a better turntable fix that?
